A man from China's Shandong province has been arrested after 21 years for killing a family of four people, a media report said on Monday.
The suspect, surnamed Jia, murdered a couple and their two teenage daughters in the provincial capital of Jinan on May 5, 1994, before fleeing, the Global Times reported.
Jinan police kept sending orders for arrest and Jia's photos to crime investigation departments at various levels around the country for the past 21 years, and sent policemen to other cities to verify clues.
On November 20, police in Henan province reported a clue related to a suspect, who was later confirmed by Jinan police as Jia.
The police said Jia had confessed his crime.
