Chinese skier Li Hongxue won the women's 50 km elite cross-country skiing race for the sixth time at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Changchun event Friday.
Li, who had previously won the event five times - in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2009 and 2011, clocked two hours and 42.16 minutes for her sixth title, reports Xinhua.
"I cannot really remember how many times I took part in the event, but accumulating points is an exciting matter for me," said Li.
Compatriots Chi Chunxue and Ma Qinghua finished second and third respectively to complete the podium finish for China. Another Chinese Man Dandan, who won the 1.6 km skiing, only finished in fifth place.
Swedish skier Bob Niemi-Impola grabbed the men's 50 km title with a time of two hours and 17.06 minutes, followed by Chinese skiers Shang Jincai and Tang Jinle.
