Indian golfer S.S.P. Chowrasia is optimistic of producing another winning performance at the Delhi Golf Course (DGC) here as Panasonic Open India starts Thursday.

Chowrasia, whose two Asian Tour victories were on home soil, claimed a memorable triumph in the 2008 Indian Masters at the same venue.

"I have good memories here and I always think about the winning memory to play well here. My confidence is good at the moment and I will try my best to win," Chowrasia said.

The 36-year-old believes that it will be a level playing field this week as the Indians have lost their home advantage at the DGC.

"Many golfers know about DGC and they are more comfortable playing here. So, I don't think the Indians have an advantage anymore but I will try my best to play as good as I can," Chowrasia, who is nicknamed "Chipputtsia" because of his superb short game, pointed out.

Meanwhile, Thai rising star Jazz Janewattananond said that he will play 'fearless' golf.

"I want to go for it and not to be too scared. The golf course doesn't scare me but you have to be careful here. I played well here before because I just aimed for the fairways. This year I will try to do the same," the 19-year-old Jazz said.
