Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart on Wednesday completed his season-long loan move to Italian football club Torino after the Englishman fell behind the pecking order in the club he has played for the last 10 years.

"Suddenly, my career has been an important turning: it was a sign. Torino's offer came in the right moment, with the right manner. I am very excited to compare myself in an important and beautiful League such as Serie A," Hart told Torino's website.

"Italian goalkeeping tradition is known everywhere -- I am sure I could learn in Torino too. For this reason, I accepted President Urbano Cairo's proposal. I hope to live the same emotions this year," the 29-year-old added.

"I have read some interview about Torino: the coach wants humility and ambition. I like that. That's how I want to be."

According to dailymail.co.uk, Torino will pay around 55,000 pound ($72,000) per week of his salary, with City finding the rest of his 130,000 pound ($1,70,627) per week wage.

Hart, who has been capped by England in 63 matches, arrived in Turin on Tuesday as he successfully completed his medical, before putting the pen to paper on his temporary deal with Sinisa Mihajlovic's side.

At City, the arrival of Chilean Claudio Bravo from Barcelona made Hart the third preferred goalkeeper. Argentine Willy Caballero has been rated highly by City's new coach Pep Guardiola.
