A clear day lies ahead for Delhi with maximum temperature likely to be around 26 degrees Celsius, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Shallow fog enveloped the capital early Monday. Minimum temperature dipped two notches below average to 11 degrees Celsius.
"The day will be clear and cold winds will blow," an IMD official said.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 72 percent.
Maximum temperature Sunday was a notch below average at 26 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature Sunday was three notches below the season's average at 9.2 degrees Celsius.
