It was a cloudy Sunday morning in the national capital along with light rainfall, with the minimum temperature recorded at 23 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.
The Met Office has forecast an overcast day ahead, with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 30 degrees Celsius.
"Thunderstorms and rain could occur in some areas of the city," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
The city received 25.7 mm of rainfall till 8.30 a.m. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 100 percent.
Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 39.7 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 20.5 degrees Celsius, seven notches below the season's average.
