A cold wave continued unabated in the Kashmir Valley on Saturday, with light rains and snow likely to occur in the state, the weather office said.
"The minimum temperatures have marginally increased today (Saturday) due to cloud cover. Light rain and snow is likely to occur in the state during the next 48 hours," a Met Department official said.
The minimum temperatures in Srinagar, Pahalgam and Gulmarg were minus 1.2 degrees Celsius, minus 3.7 and minus 6, respectively.
Leh town recorded minus 6.6 degrees Celsius while it was minus 11.4 in Kargil.
Jammu city recorded 7.7 degrees Celsius, Katra 8.2, Batote 4.1, Bannihal 1.9 and Bhaderwah 0.8 as the night's lowest temperatures.
