Cold, windy Tuesday in Delhi, Wednesday to be partly cloudy

The national capital witnessed a cold, windy Tuesday though the maximum temperature was four notches above the season's average recorded at 24.1 degree Celsius. The met department has forecast a partly cloudy Wednesday.

"The sky tomorrow (Wednesday) is likely to be partly cloudy. There will be shallow fog in the morning," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 23 and 10 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature on Tuesday was 10.6 degree Celsius, four notches above the season's average.

Poor visibility due to fog in Delhi and other parts of northern India on Tuesday led to the cancellation of one train and rescheduling of many other trains.

 

Monday's minimum temperature was recorded at 12.2 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature settled at 24.5 degrees Celsius.
