Dario Cologna pulled away at the top of the final section to win the men's 30km skiathlon at the Sochi Olympics here Sunday.
The Swiss came first in one hour, eight minutes and 15.4 seconds for his second Olympic gold, beating defending champion Marcus Hellner of Sweden into second place by 0.4 seconds. Martin Johnsrud Sundby from Norway won the bronze in 1:08:16.8, reports Xinhua.
Cologna, three-time overall World Cup winner, returned to action last month just after a surgery of an ankle ligament in November.
