Singer-actress Anushka Manchanda, who has lent her voice to the title track of an interactive web series "Confessions - Its Complicated", says the show is all about "honest entertainment" delving into subjects that are rarely discussed in cinema or on television.
FremantleMedia, a television production company, recently announced their second venture into the digital world with the interactive web series. And Anushka also shares that the title track has a fun vibe to it.
"Singing the title track was as fun as the show is. 'Confessions...' is part of this new breed of unapologetic, honest, no holds barred entertainment. It is a very fresh approach to subjects that we are all involved with ourselves, but rarely discuss in cinema or on television," Anushka said in a statement.
The show traces the story of three girls - Raka, Sameera and Nupur - who move to Mumbai from different parts of India to make it own their own. The series premiered on Facebook on Monday in a unique creative association with Facebook's Live tool, and will go on till June end.
The track by Anushka will be launched on Wednesday.
Anushka, who came in front of the camera for "Angry Indian Goddesses", feels the show is a part of change.

She said: "This is a show that is part of that change. This was my first time recording with Leslie Lewis, and it was an absolute breeze. He is so cool, and we carried that vibe, which is also the vibe of the show, through the song. I'm really happy with how the song has turned out."
