Congress president Sonia Gandhi has approved new list of office bearers and executive committee of the party's Rajasthan unit, while retaining Sachin Pilot as chief, a party statement said.
The old committee was dissolved by the party leadership Nov 27 soon after the Congress suffered one of its worst defeats in civic polls.
The new list of office bearers and executive committee includes few former legislators and MPs. Former MP Gopal Singh Idwa and former minister Mahendra Jeet Singh Malviya are among the new 15 vice presidents. Also among the new vice presidents is Archana Sharma, who will also be the chairperson, media centre.
Among the 23 new secretaries are former minister Murari Lal Meena, sitting legislator Dhiraj Gurjar and former parliamentary secretary Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
Likewise 43 have been named as secretaries including K.K. Haritwal and Rajnu Ramawat, both ex-presidents of party student wing, National Students Union of India.
Former legislator Pratap Singh Khachriwas and Sewa Dal president Suresh Chaudhary has been made official spokespersons.
