Former Union Minister and Congress candidate Manish Tewari on Sunday cast his vote in his hometown here in Punjab.
"Cast my vote in Ludhiana. Started from Chandigarh at 6.10 a.m. Reached Ludhiana at 7.50 a.m. and cast my vote now on my way to Banga," he tweeted.
"Appeal to my press friends to monitor whether @PSChandumajra who is a voter in Patiala exercises his franchise."
"My vote, my right to make a change! Did my bit to ensure that justice and equality see the light of the day! Have you done yours?" he added.
Tewari is in fray from Anandpur Sahib, one of the holiest places of the Sikhs. He is pitted against sitting Akali Dal MP Chandumajra.
Both are engaged in a fierce battle of words, tagging each other as "outsider".
