Under fire from the opposition over serious corruption charges against kin of Haryana Staff Selection Commission functionary and others, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday said a vigilance probe had been ordered into the matter.
Khattar said Director General (Vigilance) will investigate the corruption charges involving a son of commission Chairman Bhushan Bharti and others, which went viral on the social media.
The State Vigilance Bureau will complete the investigation within a month and strict action would be taken against those found guilty, Khattar said in the Assembly on Tuesday.
The Haryana Assembly was rocked by protests from Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Congress after an audio clip regarding alleged corruption by the son of the HSSC chief became viral.
The Chairman's son was accused of taking a bribe of Rs 45 lakh from a leader to get him appointed as Mayor of a municipal body in Haryana.
