A court on Wednesday granted bail to a Chennai-based advocate B. Kumar, one of the accused in a bribery case related to poll symbol allocation.

Special Judge Arvind Kumar granted bail to Kumar, who was named as an accused in the supplementary chargesheet filed by Delhi Police last year.

Meanwhile, sidelined AIADMK leader T.T.V. Dinakaran appeared in the court in pursuance of summons against him.

The court has listed the matter for further hearing on April 4.

Dinakaran, accused of trying to bribe Election Commission officials to get the "two leaves" poll symbol for an AIADMK faction led by his aunt V.K. Sasikala, was arrested on April 25. He was granted bail on June 1.
