A special court in Pakistan Friday ordered the inclusion of three co-accused in the treason case against former president Pervez Musharraf and proceedings against those who advised him to impose an emergency in 2007.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Faisal Arab passed the order while hearing a plea filed by Gen. Musharaf seeking his acquittal in the treason case as well as to involve the co-accused in the case, Geo TV reported.

The court has directed the government to include former prime minister Shaukat Aziz, then law minister Zahid Hamid and ex-chief justice Abdul Hameed Dogar in the list of abettors which has names of 600 civil and military officials.

The court directed the government to submit its response within 15 days.
