Actress Amanda Bynes's mother Lynn, who has been taking care of her since she was released from rehab, has been praised by the judge for her efforts.
Amanda has made progress by leaps and bounds and the judge complimented Lynn on this and said: "Good job, Mrs. Bynes. Well done."
Lynn became Amanda's conservator after she started a fire in a neighbour's driveway and soaked her dog in gasoline last year. Following this, she was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, reports tmz.com.
The actress was discharged from the rehab where she was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold in July. She completed her in-patient treatment in December last year.
Amanda is now living at her parents' home and is attending fashion design classes.
