Bangladesh prevailed over Nepal by six wickets on Friday to book a semi-final berth in the Under-19 cricket World Cup.
Electing to bat first, skipper Raju Rijal (72) cracked a fine half-century to help Nepal to 211 for 9 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium here, reports bdnews24.com.
Hosts' captain Mehedi Hasan Miraz (55) led from the front with Zakir Hasan (75) to recover after an early setback and coasted to victory with 10 balls to spare.
The duo shared an unbroken 117-run stand that also powered Bangladesh to their maiden last four spot in a world event.
