An undertrial criminal was injured on Tuesday when a juvenile gangster opened fire at him at north Delhi's crowded Tis Hazari court, police said.
"The accused, who is a minor, belongs to Tillu gang. He was apprehended after being chased on the road outside the court. We are verifying his age," said Deputy Commissioner of Police, North, Jatin Narwal.
The accused fired one shot at Dinesh of Gogi gang around 1.15 p.m. when the latter was sitting in a Haryana Police bus near Gate Number 2.
"Dinesh was brought by Haryana Police from Rohtak jail to be produced at the court.
"He has been admitted to a hospital. He did not suffer any serious injury," the officer said.
