Actor Imaad Shah, whose film "M Cream" has garnered a positive response at various film festivals, is now curious to know how the Indian audiences will receive the movie, which is releasing on July 22.

Imaad told IANS: "I am very curious to know how the Indian audience receives it. I think the reception will be very positive because this film cuts across age groups -- older audience, younger audience, middle-aged audience... I am pretty confident that their response is going to be good."

The film traces a road journey undertaken by four characters to Himachal Pradesh in pursuit of a mythical drug called 'M Cream'.

Imaad said it was an interesting challenge for him to get into the skin of the character in the film.

"Though I'm not very similar to my character, I saw certain shades of myself in it, so it was quite enjoyable to try and live like him for a while," said the actor, who essays a Delhi boy in "M Cream", directed by Agneya Singh.

About the detailing required for the film, he said: "He (my character) is a writer, so I did a lot of preparation for that and kind of really got into his head for the while we were shooting.

"I had to do a lot of detailing, I did a lot of practice of writing because he is an aspiring writer and he keeps writing in his notebook throughout the day. We tried to adopt that kind of lifestyle into the character as much as we could."

"M Cream", produced by Vindhya Singh under the banner Agniputra Films, also stars Ira Dubey, Auritra Ghosh and Raaghav Chanana.
