In an attempt to encourage young talent in the field of Ayurveda, Dabur India has launched AyurMedha scholarship, a company statement said on Wednesday.
Through this initiative, the company plans to reach out to India's top 50 Ayurveda medical colleges and select three meritorious students for the scholarship prize.
"AyurMedha scholarship programme will help us instill importance of Ayurveda knowledge among Young Ayurvedic Doctors. The scholarship would be open to students at all leading Ayurveda medical colleges in the country," Dabur Head (Ethicals) Durga Prasad said in a statement.
Introduced in 2012, this initiative has facilitated around 300 students till now and endeavours to reach out to more colleges each year. This platform encourages young professionals to practice Ayurveda and take Goodness of Ayurveda across, he added.
