British tennis player Daniel Evans reached the final of the Sydney International after beating Russian Andrey Kuznetsov 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 here on Friday.
The world No. 67, Evans, who defeated the tournament's favourite Dominic Thiem in the quarter-finals, won against Kuznetsov in a game that lasted one hour and 50 minutes, reports Efe.
Luxembourg's Gilles Muller, who defeated Serbian Viktor Troicki 6-3, 7-6 (6), will face Evans in the final.
Both will seek on Saturday to win their first Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament.
