A 51-year-old Danish woman tourist was gangraped and looted here late Tuesday, police said Wednesday.
Narrating her ordeal to police, the woman said that on her way back to the hotel in Paharganj, she lost her way and was lured by a group of men to a secluded area near New Delhi railway station.
She was first looted at knife point, and then gangraped by around six men, police said.
The woman later managed to reach her hotel and called a friend in the Danish embassy.
She will leave for Denmark Wednesday.
Police sources said a case has been registered and some suspects detained.
