the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) on Wednesday issued notice to the police and education department over the incident in which minor girls were locked in the basement of a school in Chandni Chowk.
The Commission took suo-moto cognizance in this regard and sought the fact finding report from the respective authorities by July 17.

Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Education Minister Manish Sisodia also sought a report on the incident.
The management of the school was booked on charges of forcibly detaining the children on the complaint of one Shabeen Hasan who dropped his two daughters at the school around 7.30 a.m. on Monday but when he returned to pick them after the school hours, he found them not present in their respective classes.
