The Delhi unit of the BJP Sunday said the eight assembly seats for which it has not declared its candidates yet were "very crucial" and it will wait for the Congress's list before taking a decision.
"These seats are very crucial and I think we can win them easily if we choose the right candidates. We are waiting for the Congress to declare the names for these seats and then we will make an announcement," Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Vijay Goel said.
The BJP Wednesday declared a list of candidates for 62 constituencies, of which four will be contested by its old ally, Shiromani Akali Dal, while the Delhi state Congress has finalised 52 candidates for the Dec 4 polls and sent the list to the central party leadership for clearance.
Delhi has a 70-member assembly.
Some BJP leaders are annoyed with the distribution of party tickets and protests have been taking place at both the central and Delhi BJP offices since Wednesday.
However, Goel said talks were going on with the disgruntled leaders and that "the matters would be solved within a couple of days".
