Delhi Dynamos aim for third win in ISL against Mumbai City

Delhi Dynamos will be looking for their third win in the Indian Super League (ISL) when they entertain Mumbai City FC here at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium here Friday.

Delhi are currently seventh (10 points from 10 matches) in the standings just below Mumbai (12 points from 10 matches).

Delhi were at the bottom of the league table not too long ago but jumped up a place after winning 2-1 away at Guwahati against NorthEast United FC. The win ended their five-match winless run.

Mumbai, on the other hand, haven't won their last four matches and are approaching the contest after getting a 0-3 thrashing against Chennaiyin FC.

 

Mumbai's head coach Peter Reid was critical of his team's performance after their home loss to Chennaiyin FC but remained optimistic about the team's chances of reaching the semi-finals.

"It's not very pleasant. But, that's football. We'll dust ourselves off and bounce back soon," he said.

Mumbai's captain Syed Rahim Nabi said they will aim to win all the remaining four matches.

Mumbai are yet to win an away match in the tournament.
