Delhi likely to get rain on I-Day

It will be a cloudy Independence Day here with the possibility of light rainfall in some parts of the city Friday, the Met Office said.

"The day will be partly cloudy. Very light rainfall or thundershowers are likely in some parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

Friday's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.

The day's minimum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 27.6 degrees Celsius.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 69 percent.

The maximum temperature Thursday settled two notches above the season's average at 35.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was a notch above the season's average at 27.4 degrees Celsius.
