To ensure better services, the Delhi Metro Tuesday announced a customer satisfaction week from May 15 to seek customer feedback and their expectations on its operations.
"During this week, a host of activities will be undertaken such as customer satisfaction survey, smart card promotion drive, drive to prevent male passengers from entering coaches reserved for women, awareness activities about use of lifts/escalators, boarding/de-boarding of trains, online recharge facilities and energy conservation," the Delhi Metro said in a statement.
A Delhi Metro official said that their staff will be available at the stations to provide information to the commuters and will also distribute leaflets.
A customer satisfaction survey will be conducted at 22 metro stations having the maximum and the least number of commuters. These stations include: Rajiv Chowk, Chandni Chowk, New Delhi, Karol Bagh, Laxmi Nagar and Uttam Nagar East.
It added that the survey will include seven vital aspects pertaining to the Delhi Metro like availability, accessibility, information availability, quality of service, customer care, comfort and safety, and security.
The Delhi Metro ferries close to 2.3 million passengers every day.
