The Delhi government on Sunday directed all play schools in the capital to reserve 25 percent of seats for children belonging to the economically weaker sections (EWS).
"Play schools and nurseries in the national capital will have to now onwards reserve 25 percent of the seats for EWS children. This order will be applicable for all such schools whom land have been given by Delhi government agencies and the Delhi Development Authority," said the order issued by the government.
"In case if any of the schools is found to be violating this rule, then they will have to write to the government about the cause," it said.
