A 44-year-old Delhi Police constable was killed when his motorcycle was hit by a speeding car here, police said Tuesday.
Prahlad Sahay Meena was hit by a car around 1 a.m. Tuesday near Nawada Chowk in west Delhi.
"At the time of the accident, Meena was heading towards his home in Dwarka Sector 16 in west Delhi. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him dead," said a police officer.
Meena, who hailed from Rajasthan, joined Delhi Police in 1990 and was posted at the Mianwali police station in west Delhi for over two years.
