It was a pleasant weekend in the capital with maximum temperature being recorded five notches above season's average at 30 degrees Celsius. The met department has forecast similar weather Monday.
"Monday's morning will be foggy but sky will be clear during the day," said an official of India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperature are likely to hover around 30 and 13 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The minimum temperature Sunday settled three notches above season's average at 13.5 degrees Celsius.
Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 13.8 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
