The national capital on Sunday saw relatively a warm day with the maximum temperature recorded 22.8 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal. The Met has forecast partly cloudy Monday.
"On Monday the sky is likely to remain partly cloudy. There will be dense fog early in the morning," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 23 and 9 degrees Celsius respectively.
The minimum temperature on Sunday settled at 8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. In the morning, Delhi was enveloped by dense fog leading to the cancellation of one train.
A total of eight trains were rescheduled while 22 were running late due to dense fog in several parts of northern India.
Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 22.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature was 7.7 degrees Celsius, one degree above the normal.
