Hyderabad-based designer Althea Krishna is excited to present her collection titled "Demonetisation" at Hyderabad Sailing Week on Saturday.
The collection is showcased at the fashion show titled Regatta Ball. As part of the ball, the sailors themselves would do a fashion show where the girls would be clothed by designer Althea Krishna.
This quirky line of clothes has been created using the print of the old 500 and 1000-rupee notes, said a statement.
"As a civilian, I'm excited to do this show as it gives me an opportunity to work with the sailors. It gives me a feeling of patriotism since the Indian Navy is doing so much for our nation. I thought it would be a great idea to contribute from my side as my collection is wearable and inspired from a nation move of demonetising Rs 500 and 1000 notes," said the designer.
