Those women who had put their passion for dance on the back burner can put on their dancing shoes again as "Dance India Dance" (DID) opens a new platform called "DID Super Moms" for them to show their skills and fulfil their dreams.
"Through 'DID Super Moms', Zee TV has given an amazing opportunity to all women who are passionate about dancing but put it on the backburner once they became mothers," said choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan, who will judge the show with dancer-choreographer Marzi Pestonji.
"It's time for them to relive their long lost dream and show the world that apart from raising a family or having a flourishing career, they are also beautiful dancers," she added.
The 15-week series will have 16 dancers who will be divided into four teams. The contestants will be coached by four acclaimed DID skippers - Raghav Crockroaz Juyal, Prince Gupta, Siddhesh Pai and Jai Kumar Nair.
'Disco Dancer' Mithun Chakraborty will be seen in the role of Grand Master and he can't stop praising the participants.
"The mothers have floored, shocked, stumped and bowled me over! They exemplify grit and determination and a never give up attitude. 'Dance India Dance' is family to me. I'm thankful to Zee TV for once again taking me on board to rejoice in this dance mania," said Mithun in a statement.
To be hosted by Jay Bhanushali, the show is set to hit the small screen June 1.
