Actor Saqib Saleem, who was a part of Y-Films' short film "Koi Dekh Lega", says the digital market is booming in the country.
Asked what he thinks about the emergence of digital platforms, Saqib told IANS: "It's an opportunity for actors, writers, directors, technicians... I did the short film because as an actor, I wanted to play a different character. Web series and short films give us this advantage. The digital market is booming."
The "Mere Dad Ki Maruti" star says that there is now an audience for short films and web series, as there is good content online and people are watching it.
On the work front, Saqib will next be seen sharing screen space with his actress sister Huma Qureshi in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film "Oculus".
He will also be seen playing a cricketer in "Dishoom", which also stars Varun Dhawan, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez.
