After a hiatus of 25 years, Tbilisi Dinamo and Moscow Dinamo met Sunday for a friendly match before some 30,000 Georgian soccer fans.

The friendly match ended with a friendly score of one goal to each side, reports Xinhua.

During the halftime break, the Georgian hosts entertained the old-timers of the Tbilisi and Moscow Dinamo clubs, some of whom were Olympic champions from the Soviet era with a special medal award ceremony.

Sunday's match, described as a "Dinamo Without Borders", was the 106th between the two Dinamos since 1936.

Tbilisi Dinamo chief Gennady Soloviov told the press before Sunday's match that there are many soccer fans who aspire a united soccer championship which will present the Georgian side with strong rivals.

Moscow Dinamo's public relations officer Konstantin Vibornov told local media that people want children apart from seniors and veterans to play with each other.
