Actress Jessica Chastain feels discrimination is still a part of Hollywood as there are "93 per cent male" filmmakers as compared to merely seven per cent women.
"A lot of people in this industry are shocked by the (US President Donald Trump) administration and things that have been said, the divisiveness that's been created," Chastain told hollywoodreporter.com on the sidelines of the 70th Cannes Film Festival.
She added: "(Is this industry) so different? 93 percent of filmmakers are men and only seven percent are women, and three percent of DPs (director of photography) are female.
"It clearly shows there is discrimination happening. Talk is cheap. But what are you actually doing to move the needle?"
Chastain is a member of the jury for the film festival.
