Defending champion Novak Djokovic on Friday defeated World No.110 German Mischa Zverev 3-6, 7-6, 6-3 , to reach the semi-finals of the Shanghai Masters tennis tournament here.
The top seeded Serb had more difficulties than expected against Zverev, but finally prevailed after two hours and 20 minutes, reports Efe.
In the semi-final, he will be up against Spanish Roberto Bautista, who defeated Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-3, 6-4 earlier in the day.
