The Delhi High Court on Monday ordered employers not to recover the amount which they have paid their employees as per the wages fixed by the Delhi government in 2017.
A bench of Acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice C. Hari Shankar said that all the employers who gave enhanced wages as per the notification issued by the Delhi government and the Lt. Governor were not to recover the amount from their employees.
The order came while seeking clarification of the High Court's Saturday order quashing two notifications issued last year by the Delhi government, relating to revision of minimum wages for all classes of workmen and setting up an advisory panel for the purpose.
