Ukrainian international Andriy Yarmolenko will be sidelined for a lengthy period following a foot injury, German top division football club Borussia Dortmund announced.
The 28-year-old striker will be ruled out "for weeks" due to a tendon injury, which he suffered during Saturday's 2-2 draw against SC Freiburg.
Yarmolenko's injury is a setback for Dortmund head coach Peter Stoeger, who will have to find another striker for the upcoming Bundesliga encounter against bottom side FC Cologne on Friday, reports Xinhua news agency.
Yarmolenko joined Bundesliga in August 2017 to score three goals in 16 appearances ever since.
