After days of a dry spell, the capital Monday woke up to an overcast sky and light rain. The Met department has forecast more rain in some parts of the city.
According to the India Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature was 24.1 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for the season.
The maximum temperature will hover around 33 degrees Celsius.
The weatherman said the city received 3.2 mm rain since 8.30 a.m Sunday.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. Monday was 85 percent.
Since the monsoon's arrival, Delhi has got 734.6 mm of rain, 35 percent more than average.
Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded at 34.2 degree Celsius, a notch above the season's average while the minimum was normal at 25.8 degree Celsius.
