Delhi University's centralised fitness trials for admission to undergraduate courses under the sports quota will end on Sunday.
"The centralised fitness trials for admission to Delhi University's undergraduate courses are underway and will continue till Sunday evening," professor C.S Dubey, chairman, DU Sports Council, told IANS.
The fitness trials began on Thursday amid a huge turnout. The process is being video-taped to avoid any controversy.
"There is no chance of partiality. The whole process is transparent and is being video-taped."
Students will have to qualify either two 50-m runs for endurance or a 1,000-m run or walk and a standing broad jump in the fitness test.
Five percent of the seats have been reserved by the varsity under the sports and extra-curricular activities quota.
