Dubai, July 4 (IANS/WAM) The key challenges facing the environment will be the underlying theme at the 19th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) in Dubai to be held on October 23-25.
The event, organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) for the fourth year running, will shed light on the headwinds facing the water, energy and environment sectors in the region.
The participants will be asked to come up with innovative eco-friendly solutions that support economic growth while preserving natural resources and protecting the environment.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, said WETEX aims to "promote green solutions at local, regional, and international levels by providing service providers, decision makers and our partners in the UAE and the region with a platform that shows the latest state-of-the-art technologies".
The event will feature the latest products, technologies, and solutions related to energy and water efficiency, as well as residential and commercial green-building solutions.
