Offering aesthetic cultural demonstrations accompanied by an array of food options and music, multi-city festival Eat Play Love (EPL) will be held here on December 17.
The two-day festival will then travel to Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune and Nagpur. It is the first edition, and the organisers plan to expand to newer regions over the next three years.
Eat Play Love will also have artists showcasing their best work, making Ford Field Park look like a living art gallery.
Spearheaded by Percept Live and The Eat India Company, visitors at the festival will journey through the culinary road of India with participation from more than 100 exhibitors from across the country. "While there are many festivals today, they cater to specific genres and are skewed to a sub sect of the city's population thereby ending up being either too localised or being limited in their offering.
"We aim to build and deliver on the 360 degree experience by reflecting on the diversity and spirit of each city and its citizens," Chandni Dhall, partner Eat Pray Love, said in a statement.
