Singer Ed Sheeran rakes in 63,000 pounds a show during his marathon world tour, so much so that the "Thinking Out Loud" hitmaker had minted a staggering amount of 6.2 million pounds barely half way through his 17-month-long 'X' tour.
The tour began in Osaka, Japan on August 6 last year and will continue through Europe, America, Oceania and Asia until December 2015 where it will end in New Zealand.
Sheeran says that he gives himself only 1,000 pounds a month to spend, reports mirror.co.uk.
"I've not upgraded because I don't spend much money. If I had all my money in one account I would spend all of it, so I get an allowance. Maybe a grand. I spend most of it on taxis," Sheeran said.
The 24-year-old says he often buys discount DVDs from Amazon and eats at high-street bakers Greggs.
When he is not in a taxi, he drives a Mini Cooper and wears his own clothes for fashion shoots, dressing in trainers and jeans.
