A Cairo court Tuesday ordered taking Al-Jazeera Mubasher Misr (Al-Jazeera in Egypt) television news channel off air.
The administrative court also ordered the closure of three other channels, namely Ahrar 25, a network belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, the Jordanian Al-Yarmuk and the Palestinian Al-Quds, Xinhua reported citing Egypt's official news agency MENA.
The decision comes a day after the same court ordered the closure of the Islamist Al-Hafez channel, accusing it of "inciting hatred" against Coptic Christians and "undermining national unity".
Several other Islamist networks went temporarily off the air soon after the ouster of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi July 3 this year.
