Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt signed a three-year cooperation agreement with Zhengzhou's Henan Huishang football club on Thursday.
"We will send these girls and coaches to Germany to learn advanced skills and play games with Frankfurt, and also learn about their youth system to train our young players," said Li Lin, the manager of Henan Huishang FC, reports Xinhua news agency.
"It's the first time Frankfurt will be cooperating with a professional women's football club in China, and we hope it can help the club to improve their skills and spread our soccer culture to China," said Markus Weidner, the president of Frankfurt's China branch.
Weidner continued to say that Frankfurt are "bullish" about working with the Chinese sports industry. The two clubs will also cooperate in market development and public relations.
