"Burn" hitmaker Ellie Goulding has says she is too "annoyingly traditional" to propose to Dougie Poynter.
The "Burn" hitmaker is incredibly happy in her relationship with the McBusted bassist and though she can see a long-term future with him, she won't be popping the question because she wants any engagement to happen in the "normal" way, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Asked if she'd propose, she said: "Hmmmm, no. I'm all about making women do things that blokes should do, but there's a part of me that's annoyingly traditional...
"You know, my life is so weird that I do want some normal things - things I grew up thinking were normal, like getting married in a white dress in a church and having an after-party.
"And a hen do - all my best friends in Ibiza or something."
Dougie has been teetotal since undergoing a stint in rehab in 2012 and Goulding insists it is "totally cool" as she no longer drinks to excess either, though she admits she used to.
