Mumbai Indians have called up England batsman Alex Hales to replace injured New Zealand allrounder Corey Anderson for the remaining matches of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).
According to a Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) release, Hales will be available for selection for Mumbai Indians' last league game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday, subject to the completion of contractual paperwork formalities.
The 26-year-old Hales has represented England in 33 Twenty20 Internationals, with an average of 37.92 and a strike rate of 138.46.
