Envoys of four countries, including Pakistan, presented their credentials to President Pranab Mukherjee Wednesday.
The envoys who presented their credentials were Monica Lanzetta Mutis (Ambassador of Colombia), Georges de La Roche Du Ronzet Plihal (Ambassador of Guatemala), Abdul Basit (High Commissioner of Pakistan) and Sabit Subasic (Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina), an official release said here.
In an audience with Mukherjee after the formal ceremony, Basit said: "Pakistan prime minister is resolved to change the bilateral narrative of conflict (with India) into one (a relationship) underpinned by cooperation, mutual interest and mutual trust."
"Pakistan hopes the next government would move quickly and resolutely to engage fruitfully with Pakistan as desired by the people on both sides of the border and the Line of Control," he said.
