Addis Ababa, Jan 29 (IANS/WAM) Ethiopia's capital Addis Ababa will host the 22nd African Union summit Jan 30-31.
The summit will provide a platform for leaders from across the continent to voice their concerns and reach a consensus on the growing instances of civil unrest across the continent.
Ethiopia's Foreign Minister Tedros Adhanom said an "urgent solution" was needed to resolve the ongoing conflict in South Sudan and the Central African Republic.
According to him, the situation could have "serious implications for peace and security in the region, and indeed the whole continent".
During the two-day summit, the leaders will also discuss the African Union's Agenda 2063.
